Check-in is 3:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Earlier or later check-ins must be made by advance arrangement with the innkeeper. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Sometimes we can permit a 12:00pm check-out. Please inquire in advance.
Our rates are for double occupancy per night and are subject to a 15% Connecticut Room Occupancy Tax. The charge for an additional guest is $35 per person per night and includes breakfast. Additional guests must be approved by prior arrangement with the innkeeper as not all rooms can accommodate added guests.
There is a 2 night minimum for Saturday stays (Friday & Saturday night or Saturday & Sunday night). There may be last minute and seasonal exceptions. A 3 night minimum may apply to some holiday weekends.
A deposit equal to half your total stay charge plus the full charge for any gift add-ons may be charged at the time of booking. The remainder of charges for your stay is due at check-in and payable by cash, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.
There is a $35 fee for cancellations made at any time or for rescheduling of an existing reservation. Cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 7 days notice are subject to the full cost of the stay less any nights we are able to resell. Multiple-room and group bookings require a non-refundable 50% deposit due at the time of reservation. There will be no refunds for no-shows or early departures.
Multiple-room / Group Reservations
Because of our small size, cancellations of multiple rooms affect us significantly. For this reason, there is a 50% non-refundable deposit for all multiple-room reservations due at the time of booking.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside any room or other indoor area. Smoking is permitted outdoors on the property. If you smoke in your room, a cleaning charge of $300 will billed to your credit card.
Some of our guests are looking for a quiet getaway. Well-behaved children age 13 and older are welcome. We can sometimes accommodate children under age 13, but we ask that you call us to arrange your reservation.
Well-behaved pets are allowed to stay in the Cottage. The fee is $20 per pet per night. Pet owners are responsible for their pets’ safety and conduct during their stay.
Items left behind at the inn can be sent to you via mail at your request. The cost of shipping + a $5 handling and packaging fee (rounded to the next whole dollar) will be billed to your credit card.
